History

Eaton College is part of the Calvary Education Group which is a ministry arm of Calvary Christian Church. In addition to Eaton College, the Calvary Education Group consists of Calvary Early Learning Centre (Long Day Care Centre), Calvary Christian College (Prep to Year 12) and Calvary Teaching School (in partnership with Christian Heritage College, Brisbane).

The congregation of Calvary Temple Assembly of God (now Calvary Christian Church) were the driving force behind getting Calvary Christian College up and running. With a vision to build a school with Christian values as the foundation of all learning, the Church saw the College open its doors back in 1978.

This same vision and drive continues today with the addition of Eaton College. Eaton College was born out of a desire from the Executive Principal, Mr Steve Downes to provide an individualised and differentiated learning program for children with autism – a place for students to belong and flourish within their own gifts and talents.

Eaton College is named after Mr Graham Eaton, who was the founding Principal of Calvary Christian College. We honour Mr Graham Eaton and the significant role he has played and continues to play in the Calvary community. The College officially opened on Monday, July 10, 2023 to 15 students from Prep to Year 4.
